Networking for the creative economy

The E-Culture Fair 2010 is a different kind of trade fair. From 23 to 25 August 2010, in the tower of the Dortmund U, there will be individuals, initiatives and firms from the whole world, who work on the interfaces between culture, creative economy, and research and development.

The E-Culture Fair will offer many opportunities for meeting new people and networking. Professionals from the fields of culture, research, education and creative industry can discover the enormous potential to be found in interdisciplinary collaboration. Making innovative progress is the most important thing, not making money – although commercial possibilities should not be ruled out.

The E-Culture Fair 2010 is at the interface between culture, creative economy, and research and development.

The cooperative project is being funded by three organizations: the German Medienwerk NRW and BAM/B and Virtueel Platform from the Netherlands. Partners from Dortmund include the Hartware MedienKunstVerein and the Cultural Office of the City of Dortmund.
